Superb park at the foot of the Corcovado morro, home to a beautiful residence by Henrique Lage with a lush ambience
A superb park at the foot of the morro del Corcovado. Small paths, a stifling atmosphere that familiarize us with the lush atmosphere of the Mata Atlântica. The beautiful early 20th century house was designed by the Italian architect Mario Vrodet for Henrique Lage. The marble walls, the Art Deco bathtub in one of the bathrooms (which was featured in the 1969 film Macunaima) inspire the students of the School of Visual Arts, who have made this their home! One might consider a snack at the adjoining café, not forgetting to take a look at the Corcovado.
