Built in 1914, the fort has retained its main original features, from its 12 m thick walls to its armoured domes equipped with Krupp guns. The main interest of this small stopover between Copacabana and Ipanema is not so much the museum as the absolutely extraordinary view of the town. It is the only place from which you can appreciate the vastness and beauty of Copacabana Bay, with the Sugar Loaf and Christ the Redeemer as a backdrop.

Musée fort intéressant, belle surprise! Beaux tableaux également et belles représentations historiques! De plus, la vue est très jolie, on peut flâner ou petit déjeuner dans l'un des restaurants!
