MARATONA DO RIO

The route follows the Atlantic Ocean along the mythical beaches of Recreio, Barra de Tijiucà, Sao Conrado, Leblon, Ipanema, Copacabana and then passes in front of the Sugarloaf and arrives in Flamengo. It is perhaps the most beautiful marathon in the world! Hundreds of thousands of competitors from all over the world try to complete the 42 kilometers of the course in 2 hours for the fastest, more than 5 hours for the least efficient, but succeeding in finishing this mythical course is in itself a magnificent victory in this wonderful setting.
