Hotel Gloria was one of the mythical addresses of the city of Rio. It was the most luxurious hotel in the early 1920 s, welcoming the presidents and stars of the day. You are told about this because you will not miss this majestic white building when you ride on the Aterro de Flamengo towards the Zona Sul. It was bought by Eike Batista, the largest fortune in the country and carioca of heart. The renovation project is still pending in early 2018 when we write these lines.
