In this beautiful building dating from 1936, near the Selarón staircase, the Adega Flor de Coimbra offers very good Portuguese cuisine. Many Brazilian artists and intellectuals, such as the painter Candido Portinari, have frequented this historic, and now listed, place in the city. The setting is a bit tired and the area is very touristy, but a meal in this restaurant is still a nice experience in Lapa... but quite expensive. Today Lapa seems to have become a derelict area again, where you have to be careful.

J'adore ce traditionnel et historique restaurant au pied de la escada de Zelafon .... On y mange très bien et les prix sont plus que raisonnables. Le service est impeccable. Le menu du jour est une vraie affaire.
The best at Rio De Janeiro and around
