For many years, Azumi has earned the reputation of being one of the most traditional Japanese restaurants in Rio de Janeiro... and there are many. It is in any case a good sushi restaurant in Copacabana! Of course, the setting is not really the nicest we have ever seen, but the sushi and sashimi platters are very good. Better to eat at the bar to see the chef at work (and to look away from the room!). There is no "fusion" cuisine. The dishes are traditional. The service is of varying quality.
