The Bar do David has become a real institution. Several reasons explain this deserved success. First of all, it is a real place of conviviality in the pacified favela of Chapeu da Mangueira. The very affable David knew how to create a place and an atmosphere to his image. We also go there for the "boteco" food. David's bar has just won for the third time the competition of "comida de boteco" of the State of Rio with its bolinho "ousadia". In short, an authentic place to know, for sure, even if it is located in a favela.
