Visit this museum, housed in the former Sant de Francisc convent, and admire important archaeological finds on the island

The museum is housed in the former Sant Francesc convent, built between the ^17th and ^18th centuries, and features a magnificent central cloister. The first rooms of the permanent exhibition house exhibits dating back to prehistoric times, an essential complement to a visit to the island's Talayotic sites. In the ^18th-century room, the focus is on French Minorca and the objects associated with this period. Two or three temporary exhibitions are held each year. Guided tours in French in summer.

Très beau musée qui retrace bien l'histoire de Minorque. Le prix d'entrée est vraiment dérisoire au regard du savoir auquel on accède. Très belle visite!!
