About 30 km east of Amboseli, near the village of Kimana and the road to Tsavo, a very small reserve (40 ha) was created in 1996. The Kimana Wildlife Sanctuary is managed by the Maasai community, which also owns the reserve. This project, supported by the KWS and the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, among others, allows the local population to participate directly in the protection of nature and to benefit from it. Possibility to camp or to stay in a nice house available to visitors (self-catering).

Paysages splendides et faune abondante. On y trouve de nombreux éléphants, zèbres et autres animaux sauvages "facilement" visibles du fait d'un terrain plat.
Simply wonderful. Here we could see much animals (elephants, giraffes, zebras, birds). At sunset it is magical... A real scenery and a lesson life!
The best at Amboseli National Park and around
