Shompole Wilderness at the foot of the rift valley escarpment, with luxury safari tents, overlooking the Ewaso Nyiro River

Shompole Wilderness is situated at the foot of the Rift Valley escarpment, with Lake Magadi to the east and Lake Natron to the south. It has six luxury safari tents, nestled in the shade of giant fig trees, overlooking the Ewaso Nyiro River. It is a delightful place to be cut off from the world (no wifi), in a peaceful and wild environment, where the fauna and flora remain preserved, and where contact with the Maasai populations is much more authentic than elsewhere. Few tourists venture into this region, which gives it an exceptional character.
