The Nabuyaton volcano is THE postcard landscape of Lake Turkana. Located at the southern end of the Jade Sea, its conical shape and gentle, black slopes contrast sharply with the green waters of the lake on the horizon. This volcano, not so easy to approach, is the perfect opportunity for a day trip by boat from Loiyangalani. Bring your own food and, above all, water, as you won't find anything or anyone on site. Take a local guide with you, especially when walking through the lava flows.
