The road to Turkwell Gorge cuts like a razor through this perfectly flat valley where only thorny trees and rare acacias survive... and which constitutes the Nasolot National Reserve. It is a superb park surrounded by magnificent mountains peeled by the extreme temperatures which prevail in the area. It is hard to imagine that animals could survive there. Yet, the locals say that you can meet elephants and a few felines. Anyway, it is a park that is crossed more than it is visited. We will appreciate above all the unique beauty of its landscapes, without trying to track any animal
