Baragoi is nothing more than a stopover town, located in the Samburu district, north of Maralal and east of the Suguta valley. It is an obligatory passage on the road (C77) to South Horr and Lake Turkana, but remains unattractive. Photo opportunities should be avoided in the town as the population is not very friendly. When you arrive, it is likely that you will be asked for this or that. If you do not agree, refuse and remain courteous but firm. On the road between Baragoi and Maralal, don't miss to stop at the World View Point. A gas station with super and diesel, but not always available
