This vast reserve of nearly 40 000 ha is much more northerly than the previous ones, in the Wamba region.This very wild region is located at the north end of the elephant migration corridor. The pachyderms from the Laikipia plateau thus enjoy a new protection area in a region where poaching has failed to exterminate them.Managed by the samburu community, the reserve allows to discover, on foot, slug or 4 X 4, a very beautiful mountainous area where samburus pastors graze their herds. The impression of calm and solitude is quite magical.
