Ayako, Japanese, has taken over the place. It is the hotel which is next to the museum of Leymebamba. It offers 2 double rooms with wide beds and 1 double room which are quite large with nice beams on the ceiling and elegantly furnished, plus a family room. There is a small garden. On site catering is essential as it is a little way from the village. It can be a stopover with a visit to the museum, or a starting point for treks. You can observe the birds, visit the nearby craftsmen. Quiet and comfortable.
