LA CABAÑA

This institution, opened since 1991 under the leadership of Lucho Hurtado, has moved but keeps the same formula. On the menu: wood-fired pizzas, pasta, but also Peruvian specialities like cuy and trucha. Saturdays and Sundays open from 7am with the classic mondongo (a tripe soup!) which cures everything. You can also get tourist information with the Incas del Peru agency: www.incasdelperu.org. Their offer (agency, restaurant and B&B) is slowly but surely coming back.
