Another must for day trips from Arequipa: the mountain bike descent of the Chachani Volcano. Departure 8am, return 2pm. All have the same operator. You will be provided with all the necessary equipment: mountain bike, helmet, protections and snacks. Once you arrive at the starting point, all you have to do is hold on to your brakes and ride down the volcano. The experience is great for novices, but can be a bit disappointing for the big sportsmen and mountain bike lovers. Nice for a half day and accessible to all levels.
