The admirable facade of the 17th century church leaves the passer-by stunned. Made of carved stone, it illuminates the crossroads with its delirious stonework and its glowing façade. The interior is uncluttered: many times repaired, the church has lost, little by little, its most beautiful pieces. In the sacristy is the Estatua de la Muerte, a famous sculpture by Baltazar Gavilán, who, dazzled by the beauty of the finished work, fell to his death while contemplating it. So beware!
