BELVÉDÈRE DE PONTA DAS CONTENDAS (MIRADOURO DA PONTA DAS CONTENDAS)

This is a superb viewpoint over the ocean which extends to the island of Mina, which is a famous spot for snorkelling or diving in Terceira. In addition to the superb panorama, this protected area allows the observation of many species of marine birds, in particular the roseate tern, of which it is the principal nesting area of the Azores and the second in Europe.
