New in 2021, the restaurant-pastry shop Quartier Gourmand has opened its doors in Mamoudzou, in the small alleyway that connects Rue du Commerce to Rue M'Gombani. The manager, Amina, is Moroccan and likes to share the flavors of her country and her recipes that are a fusion with Mauritanian cuisine. It is an opportunity to discover oriental pastries, very appreciated and consumed in Mayotte during religious holidays. Afternoon tasting sessions are planned, accompanied of course by the famous Moroccan tea. To be tasted on the spot or to take away.
