Festivities including exhibitions of handicrafts and traditional instruments, concerts, lectures, songs and dances.

Fatma is coupled with the commemoration of the abolition of slavery, initiated by Victor Schœlcher who had the law passed on 27 April 1848. The programme includes exhibitions of handicrafts and traditional instruments, concerts, conferences, songs and dances to promote the culture and traditions of the Mahoran people, such as the worship of the Djinns from the Sakalava traditions. This multi-coloured festival is a real living museum, it closes with a Carnival on the third day.
