When to go à ROME ?
The weather in Rome is mild, with mild winters. However, summers can be very hot, especially in August when the city is deserted by Romans in search of a little coolness! This can make for a less pleasant visit and, above all, give a feeling of a dead city. Although spring can sometimes be rainy, the ideal time to visit Rome is autumn, during the Roman ottobrate period : a true Indian summer!
Located about 30 kilometers from the sea, Rome enjoys an extremely mild climate. Winter temperatures do not fall below 0°C and in the coldest months flirt with 5°C. During the winter months, you should still bring a warm coat. In summer, however, temperatures can reach and even exceed 35°C.
Rome's mild climate and the ease of finding cheap flights now make it possible to visit the Eternal City at any time of the year. However, the most appropriate time to fully appreciate the Roman way of life is between March and June or in September and October, when the heat is not as overwhelming as in summer. This is also the period when Romans, taking advantage of the good weather, crowd the main streets and squares. Note that during the fortnight of August, the city is deserted by its inhabitants because of the heat wave, but it remains one of the favorite destinations for international tourism. Finally, one last remark: hotels consider the months of March to October as high season.

Discover ROME
" Roma caput mundi ", Rome capital of the world. It's a pretentious quote, but one thing's for sure: Rome is a unique city that leaves no one indifferent, not even its inhabitants. Its marvels have stood the test of time, earning it the title of "Eternal City". A veritable open-air museum, the city is a condensed history with many faces. Some will see it as the Rome of Caesar, Pompey or Cicero, a city-empire that conquered the universe. Others will marvel at the Rome of the Christian Church, with its papal basilicas and the Vatican. Finally, aesthetes will elevate it to the capital of the arts, from the baroque Piazza Navona to the elegant Trevi Fountain. In the pages to come, discover all the faces of the Italian capital, not forgetting the modern Rome of the 21st century. Benvenuti a Roma !
