In one of the narrow streets in the heart of Trastevere, this biscottificio doesn't look like much at first glance. However, is over one hundred years old and produces over fifty different types of cookie by hand. There's no cream here, just the dry cookies Italians love: Frappe and castagnole during Carnival, brutti ma buoni, tozzetti con le mandorle all year round... These are just some of the sweet treats on offer in this Ali Baba's cave of cookies. Ideal for a quick snack in the neighborhood.
