One of the characteristic places in Rome where the atmosphere is pleasant. Well known for its staircase leading to Trinité-des-Monts.

Not to be missed. In the lively Piazza di Spagna, you'll find the Palazzo della Propaganda Fide, a major training ground for those who spread the word of the Counter-Reformation. At the foot of the famous Trinità dei Monti staircase, the Barcaccia fountain by Bernini, father and son, dates back to 1629. To build it, Bernini's son had to overcome a number of technical difficulties: hydraulic pressure was too low to create jets of water, so the sculptor imagined a sunken boat taking in water from the stern and bow, in the middle of a barely larger oval basin.

Ce lieu est magnifique. C'est un vrai point de rencontre, que ce soit pour les touristes ou pour les Romains. Evidemment, à la belle saison, on devine les marches du grand escalier jusqu'à la Trinité-des-Monts, plus qu'on ne les voit.

The barcaccia the fountain of Bernini father and son is in the center of the square that is not so square but rectangular with Valentino and Missoni. The m of the underground is difficult to find but it is a Red sign

Arrivez par la bouche de métro en venant de l aéroport et débouler là dedans, au cœur de la ville et de cette jolie place dans un beau quartier avec ses fameux escaliers vous garantiront un bodebut de séjour.

Très belle place qui l'aurait été encore plus si l'église Trinidad del monte n'avait pas été en restauration au moment de notre séjour. Malgré tout nous avons fait l'ascension des marches pour aller découvrir cette église et profiter de la vue
