Cemetery of the community of the foreigners of Rome, near the
The foreign community of Rome - which was forbidden to be buried within the city walls - established its cemetery at the beginning of the 18th century near the Cestia Piramide. In the 19th century, several artists chose this place as their final resting place. Among them, Shelley or Keats. The latter's grave is not recognizable, it has no name. Only one of her poems in English allows us to locate her. There are also Italians like Antonio Gramsci, founder of the Italian Communist Party, and director Pier Paolo Pasolini.

Cimitero Acattolico

Romantic and calm atmosphere in this small cemetery reminiscent of the villette in Paris. Do not hesitate to make a visit.
