Basilica where you can admire the fresco of the by Raphael and the by Caravaggio.
Built in 1420, it was transformed in the 18th century by Luigi Vanvitelli. On the third column of the central nave is Raphael's second work in a church in Rome (the other is in S. Maria della Pace), the fresco of the Prophet Isaiah. In the nave on the right, the 5th chapel was decorated by the Guerchin. The main altar is a project of Bernini. Not to be missed is a masterpiece of the Caravaggio, the Madonna of Pilgrims (first chapel in the nave on the left). A must.
