Funny baroque church located near the famous flea market, Porta Portese.
This baroque church is decorated with donations from the commercial guilds of the neighborhood. In fact, it is located near the famous flea market, Porta Portese. It was built in the sixteenth century and decorated in the eighteenth century. In the choir, the transept and the nave there is a remarkable sculpted decoration, and in the center of the vault an Assumption of the Virgin, by Calandrucci. The church contains numerous frescoes and paintings from the late sixteenth and eighteenth centuries.
