La Befana is an old witch who brings sweets to the good children and coal to the others! Large market in Navona Square.

Tradition tells us that on this date, Befana, an old witch, would bring toys and sweets to the good children and coal to the boys on her broom! It is a tradition respected throughout Italy, so much so that winter holidays never end before the arrival of Befana. In all the forni you will find little witches filled with candy to offer to young and old alike. And for the occasion, the large Christmas market held in Piazza Navona is covered with stalls with multicoloured products.
