This hotel is ideally located in the heart of the charming and lively Trastevere district. It is a true haven of peace. All the rooms overlook a very quiet and pleasant garden just a few steps from the church of Santa Maria in Trastevere. We are here in an old cloister that has been renovated! Free bicycles are at your disposal. Guided tours are also available at an additional cost. This is an excellent address for a relaxing stay to discover Rome.

We had an amazing time. The location is great, very lively and the hotel is incredibly quiet. The room, common areas, courtyard were all really nice. And the staff were excellent, we spent some time with Kevin the barman and he made us very welcome for our entire stay. Overall it was lovely few days and we will certainly be back.

An amazing, beautiful hidden gem in Roma - quarter Trastevere. The staff is very kind, helpful, speaks perfectly English, our requests before and whilst there were immediately dealt with. perfect location as it is close to Ponte Sisto from where you are in directly to Roman highlights. Room is clean and spacious though bathroom could need a refurbishment. we appreciated the terrace and roof terrace with sunbeds. overall a wonderful place to stay.

My husband and I love everything about Hotel Santa Maria. We visited April 2023, 2024 and have booked 2025. The serenity of this hotel is lovely, our very own oasis in bustling Trastavere. And the staff are wonderful, friendly, professional, welcoming and meet our every wish. We will never stay anywhere else in Rome. From breakfast and cappuccino to my spritz at happy hour and every moment under the orange trees: I say thank you!
