A vast palace with a beautiful facade, on one of the most beautiful squares in the city centre. Bernini Bristol is the benchmark for luxury hotels in Rome. Inside, it has all the standing of a very large 5-star house, both in terms of reception and the facilities on offer. The 127 rooms and suites have a contemporary and refined decoration, with a touch of baroque reminiscent of Bernini. The hotel's rooftop offers a splendid view, there is an elegant gourmet restaurant. A spa is also located inside the hotel.

My son, wife and I stayed at the Sina Bernini for 5 nights. This hotel is excellent in every way. Service was impeccable (especially Eleanora in the bar) she actually treated us like friends, not just “another customer”. Room service was daily and without fail. Room was very clean and modern. The hotel is very close to all the major attractions. We enjoyed just walking and exploring the wonderful city of Rome. We were warmly welcomed back each night by front doorman (Marco & Mario). When we come back to Rome, this will be where we chose to stay. 5 star….thank you for great memories!

We had one night here in February. The room was fine. Not 5 star, but fine. The hotel is in a brilliant area for the Trevi fountain and Via Vittoria Veneto. It also has a gorgeous rooftop terrace with fabulous views. The breakfast was plentiful and varied.

Upon checkout we went to an event out of the city. On arrival at the new hotel, we realised we had stupidly left both our phone chargers plugged into the wall next to the bed in the room at the Sina Bernini. We called and eventually got through (after a long time of trying!) We explained where we’d left them and that we were returning to the city in the morning to collect them. We were assured they’d be waiting for us at the front desk “if they had been found”.
I’m sure by now you know where this is going - apparently “they weren’t there”. Which roughly translates to any language as “our cleaners have decided to pocket them”.
Not what you expect from a 5 star hotel.
Yes it was our silly fault for leaving them, but phone chargers?! Really?!?

So no, we won’t be returning and we don’t recommend. We stayed elsewhere for our next two nights and what a choice that was! No rooftop restaurant, but fabulous individually styled rooms, bigger, fluffier towels and robes and a homely feel. All things the Sina Bernini Bristol could benefit from.

Not worth the price or points to stay here. We enjoyed the location but that was about it. Brought our bags in early the day of check in and was told we would get a notification through the Bonvoy app when our room was ready. 5pm rolled around still no notification, eventually just went back to the hotel and they assigned a room. Once we got into our room it was incredibly small and I was quite disappointed I didn’t get an upgraded room as a Titanium Elite member. We frequented a bar with a view of the hotel nightly and the terraces were never occupied- not the end of the world as we didn’t spend a ton of time in the room but would have been nice seeing my status and being on our anniversary trip. The breakfast was ok but the exact same every day (looking back I should have taken the points over the breakfast). One of the things we were excited about was the rooftop bar and we were given a free drink at check in. We went up to the bar on our 2nd night only to be told the bar is closed and we could sit at the one in the lobby.

Our room had NO air all week. Thankfully I booked a balcony room so we ended up sleeping with our balcony doors open every night to get some cool air. The bathroom left a lot to desire. The shower knobs were falling out of the wall and there was mold all over the windows in the bathroom. I’m assuming our room was next to a service room because literally every morning and every night leaving and returning to the room we had the staff cleaning carts right outside our door. I stay in a Marriott every week and had really high hopes for this place on our anniversary trip but sadly this property was a major let down.

My room was not ready by 3pm, despite being told it would be. Power was unavailable (you have to insert your room key in a slot, which is normal, but for some reason power is also controlled centrally). I had to call multiple times during my stay to get the issue resolved. Towels smell like vinegar (every day). Front desk takes a very long time to answer the phone (I waited 30 minutes, at least twice. When I called from outside the hotel, I waited for over 45 minutes and nobody answered so I gave up). Bathroom had no shower gel for 2 days.

Service is clearly lacking in this hotel. For a rate above $300 per night, you’d expect these basic things to be working.

Breakfast was ok, the buffet was varied but nothing outstanding.

The room was ok, clean and modern. The bathroom was simple, a few mold spots in the shower.

This is my second stay at a Sina hotel (last one was in Milano). I may skip this chain next time I’m in Italy, as I continue to be disappointed.

雖然是五星飯店,但連通房的隔音能力實在令人疑惑。好在反應後之後有更換房間。
