We just got back from a two-week Italian trip (Rome, Florence, Venice); Ad Hoc was the second restaurant we visited, and by far the best. My wife and I both chose a tasting menu, which meant two solid hours of amazing food courses and corresponding glasses of wine for each course.

The decor and ambiance were great for couples, the service was amazingly attentive, and the overall experience was top-notch. Two week later and we're still talking about how great the meal was.

The cost was astoundingly affordable too. When I saw it was going to be a multi-course experience, I steeled myself for a huge price-tag, but that was not the case. Later in our trip we had several meals that were far more expensive for lesser-quality food and service.

Do yourself a favor and check this place out.

A wonderful restaurant with excellent service. All the waiters were extremely friendly and attentive. We were treated to several complimentary dishes from the kitchen. The food was perfect, and the wine was also delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. It deserves a stellar review for its exceptional dining experience.

Excellent food and great service. Fantastic wine list with very knowledgeable staff. Indulged in several truffle focused dishes. The suckling pig is excellent, as is the ravioli cacio e pepe. Very centrally located, a few blocks from our hotel.

We spent a gastro weekend in Rome, including a visit to three Michelin restaurants, and I must say that although Adhoc does not have a star, it surpassed some of the Michelin ones in terms of quality. I especially have to praise the amazing customer service and the food representing the best of Italy. A perfect experience and we will definitely be back again on our next visit to Rome.

Simply put, the most unbelievable dining experience in Rome. My wife and I enjoyed every minute of it and the tasting menu came with wine specifically for the dishes for only a little more of the price. Absolutely worth it. If you have a reservation elsewhere, cancel it and come here!

Alles in allem hat das Ad Hoc unsere hohen Ansprüche mit entsprechenden Oberstufenpunkten von 15/15 (Höchstnote) ohne Einbußen ein zweites Mal mehr als übertroffen.

Weltweit ist das Ad Hoc das Restaurant, von dem wir am meisten schwärmen. Nichts ist uns so gut in Erinnerung geblieben wie das Food & Wine Tasting Menu „The Truffle“. Unsere zweite Reise nach Rom war unter anderem befeuert durch die erneute Möglichkeit, hier essen zu können. Unsere dritte Romreise ist derzeit wieder in Planung. Definitiv wird diese suf die Öffnungszeiten und Verfügbarkeit des Ad Hoc ausgerichtet sein.

J’ai entendu que du bien sur ce restaurant et étant à 3 minutes à pied de notre hôtel j’ai réservé une table pour 2. Le restaurant est très beau, et le service très bien. Cependant, les plats.. une grande déception.
Nous avons pris 2 entrées + 2 plats + 1 eau et 1 deca pour 106€. À savoir que mon conjoint n’a pas mangé son plat car le poisson avait un tres mauvais goût (pas frais). Il n’a rien consommé, les serveuses se sont excusées, mais n’ont fait aucun geste commercial.
L’entrée : courgette style tempura était vraiment pas bonne également.

Sehr freundliche gut englisch sprechende Bedienungen. ( dunkelhaarige und Asiatin)

Außer die blonde Frau die über mein Kopf eine Flasche Wein mit einem Stock runter geholt hat ohne ein Wort zu sagen. Hätte zumindest sorry sagen können oder ein Hallo.

Essen war ok aber die Käse und die Fisch Platte sind ein Witz. Wenn man kein Wein mag mag hat man hier Pech gehabt. Es gibt keine Getränke Karte sonst.

Im ganze ein sehr schöner laden in dem man sich wohl fühlt, die Mädels sind sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.
156€ zu zweit/ 1 Glas Wein und eine Cola Zero essen ohne Nachtisch.

El servicio era correcto. Pero se supone que se trata de un restaurante cuyo precio debería corresponder a un nivel de excelente pero era una comida mediocre.

Εξαιρετικά όλα. Γεμάτα όλα χαμόγελα και γεύσεις. Απλά όταν σου εξηγούν το μενού λίγα πιο σιγά γιατί θες και 2η προσπάθεια να τα καταλάβεις!!!

The restaurant was absolutely fabulous. We each had a first and second course from the truffle menu since black truffles were in season, and they were splendid. The service was excellent, and they really seemed to strive to go beyond expectations. Worth every penny.

Sono rimasta davvero colpita in positivo,a partire dal modo in cui siamo stati accolti,alla cordialità e gentilezza delle cameriere fino alla qualità del cibo scelto e degli assaggi proposti tra una portata e l'altra. Tornerò sicuramente,e mi sento di consigliarlo a chiunque abbia voglia di trascorrere una serata all'insegna del buon cibo.
