Yes, as his name indicates, in this tavern we eat well! And in addition it's cheap. In a most authentic setting, you will taste typical dishes of Roman cuisine. The spaghetti cacio e pepe or all'amatriciana, the saltimbocca went romana, or the awe abbacchio (lamb). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice boutique next door to buy local products!

Absolutely loved this restaurant and highly recommend it. Had my first truly Italian pizza here and it's still the standard by which I compare all others. And few others can compare. The servers were attentive and top notch. We ate at a table outside, in the evening and it was a memorable experience. This restaurant was recommended to us by someone from Rome, on our flight there. If I ever return to Rome this is a restaurant I will seek out again.
