Located on a street slightly away from the rest of the Testaccio, not far from the Tiber River, this restaurant has a pleasant terrace and serves a great meal to a clientele of used guests. Quite unique of its kind in the area, La Torricella serves mainly fish and seafood dishes and not the dishes of Abats abats. So share a plate of fried anchovy while waiting for your linguine al ragù di mare. Another positive point: The restaurant is open on Sunday, rarity in the corner.

La cucina è il punto di forza di questo storico locale di Testaccio, senza dubbio. Soprattutto per i piatti di pesce è una certezza. L'ultima volta che siamo stati, purtroppo, abbiamo trovato i servizi igienici - eravamo i primi commensali presenti, quindi non si trattava di logistica ma di disattenzione - sporchi il che è risultato in una nota stonata evitabile (i servizi igienici avrebbero bisogno di una bella ristrutturazione) nell'ambito di una serata così gradevole.
