Not star worthy!
We never had an experience like this one from a Michelin Star restaurant, and 2 stars which is very confusing.
But the most important component was the food and it was just bad!
No theme or logic, it’s almost like the chef just threw flavors together without tasting them.
Dishes were either sour for now reason or too sweet for items that shouldn’t be.
Just awful and can’t believe it has 2 stars from Michelin.
Sorry, like to give good reviews but it’s a total waste of time and money here!
This is not a typical restaurant. The food was so inspired and so many flavors. Every dish was an explosion of flavor more intense than the last.
We had the circus 10 course tasting menu - my absolute favorite was the tortellini with duck inside. But everything they brought on the tasting menu was exceptional.
The service is so top notch and the experience is so worth the price. You will leave both satisfied and happy! So many interesting techniques used and flavor combinations introduced. The reimagining of cacao e Pepe was wild.
Il Pagliccio is a charming and authentic Italian restaurant nestled in the heart of Rome. From the moment you step through the door, you are welcomed with warm hospitality and a cozy, inviting ambiance. The modern decor and intimate setting create a delightful atmosphere for a memorable culinary dining experience. The menu is a fine culinary journey through traditional Italian flavors, with a focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Each dish is expertly crafted and beautifully presented, showcasing the chef's dedication to quality and authenticity. Whether you're savoring a classic pasta dish, indulging in a delectable seafood entree, or enjoying a sumptuous dessert, every bite is a celebration of Italian gastronomy. Very tender veal dish and seafood dishes. The flavours are rich in every dish. The staff at Il Pagliccio are attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about providing exceptional service.
We’ll be back ????
Best meal I have ever had, I opted for the 10 course lunch on my first vacation in Rome, and man was it worth it. The servics was on point, the food was perfectly seasoned and cooked, but most importantly they did an amazing job of telling a story and making it an experience for the diner. They did a great job at really letting the quality of ingredients speak for themselves while still having a sense of wonder and creativity. If I could rate 10 stars I would. There’s a reason they have 2 Michelin stars, I don’t know when the next time I’ll get a chance to come back to Rome but when I do I know I’ll be back.
We had a wonderful experience at Ill Pagliaccio. The staff was exceptional. We did the tasting menu which was very good, the wine pairing was exceptional.
Good experience. We did the 10-course tasting menu, with 3-wine pairing. 3 wines option was a great option, not too much but well fitting the menu. Food was good in general, but sometimes you need to be open-minded and be a bit adventurous. Service was excellent matched the Michelin stars rating. The farewell gift was a nice gesture.
L’alta cucina è sempre più assimilabile all’arte, e come tale diventa spettacolo, sorpresa e meraviglia.
My second experience with Michelin restaurant.
Impressed, not expected so many tasty dishes in the corse.Mostly high end cuisine difficult to understand for ordinary consumer. But not here
Many Asian notes with an emphasis on fish.
Special thanks for one small appetizer with strawberry and basilica, which brought back memories from 40 years ago.
Height level stuff and service, like have to be in this class of restaurant.
Unforgettable experience.
