Former Da Alfredo al Campidoglio, this restaurant is located right at the foot of the Roche Dissembling. Already very well known during the 1950 s, it is the point of collapse of the entire population of the 7 th Roman art. He has served, among other things, shooting decor to the Film Scola film, we have loved so much. The kitchen is mainly Roman, and on Saturday you can often watch music on the terrace.

Overrated. Everything on the menu here is 50% pricier than at other places. We ordered classic Carbonara and meatballs, both of which weren’t particularly impressive at their price point. The service was slow too - had to wait 10-15 minutes for payment and so on. Overall it wasn’t worthwhile in my opinion.

Today we had the special menu for Sundays lunch: two dishes to choose from appetiser, first or second course. After having read many people talking about carbonara I choose it to taste. The result was a delicious carbonara and as second course I choose for involtini alla romana and they were good too. So I can affirm that this place worth the walk to get in and I strongly suggest.

They run a weird fixed price menu on a Sunday lunch (30 Euro per person) but for some unexplained reason one of our group couldn’t have dessert as one of the courses. The menu is online only but their WiFi is very slow and there’s very little cellular coverage inside.

Two of the main dishes were served lukewarm.

They say their carbonara is the best in Rome but it was a bit disappointing, I had better at another restaurant.
