This restaurant in Testaccio has been adopted by Carlo Petrini, founder of Slow Food (an awareness movement against junk food). Indeed, he would have described it as his favorite restaurant in Rome. Since then, the place has become legendary among gastronomes who come here to look for traditional cuisine made with simple and fresh local products. In summer, a patio and a terrace make it a very pleasant place. It is said to be one of the best carbonara in Rome. A sure value that is always successful: reservation recommended.

Cibo eccellente piatti annondanti , staff preparatissimo e gentile ottima esperienza anche se non abbiamo assaggiato tutte le specialità per poco appetito, da ritornare sicuramente, consiglio vivamente.

Ottimo ristorante di cucina romana, con qualche tocco napoletano(zucchine all'ascapece, pasta col soffritto), sempre una garanzia! Carciofi, puntarelle, baccalà, trippa, coda e tanti altri classici, ma non mancano alcuni piatti con qualche innovazione. I ricarichi sui vini sono alti, per il resto invece i prezzi sono più che onesti. Il servizio è semplice, ma efficiente. L'ambiente è molto bello, soprattutto nelle sale sopra e sui terrazzi, quando il tempo lo permette.
