In a house that is representative of 17th and 18th century Madeiran architecture, old pieces and objects that belonged to the writer-journalist Horácio Bento de Gouveia (including his library) are on display. Fascinating... for enthusiasts at least! However, even if you don't know the writer, you will still be able to take a look at the façade of this typical Madeiran building, which is now painted pink and decorated with green shutters.
