CAPELA DOS REIS MAGOS

A lovely little chapel dating from the 16th century. Classified as a historical monument, its facade and its interior frescoes on wood have been restored. Despite its relatively simple structure, this chapel dedicated to the Three Kings is not without charm. It was rebuilt in 1778 by the very wealthy Carvalhal family. It still has a beautiful gilded wooden altar. Its altarpiece represents a scene of the Adoration of the Magi. To visit it, you must contact the managers of the Casa de Capelinha.
