If the cuisine is rather classic, the meats are exquisite and the wine list offers a hundred possibilities. In addition, the service, smiling, is very efficient. In winter, one of the best cocido madrileño in the region is à la carte on Wednesdays and Fridays. And, after the delicious apple pie from the abuela ("grandmother's"), go for coffee or liqueur at the Café Croché, just next door. A very good address.
