Monastery dedicated to the mystery of the Incarnation at the time of Queen Margaret of Austria, the church is in the form of a Latin cross
Convent built to celebrate the expulsion of the Moors from the Kingdom of Castile and Aragon. Queen Margaret of Austria founded this monastery in Madrid, dedicated to the mystery of the Incarnation. The works began in 1611 and lasted a year. The convent church, in the shape of a Latin cross, houses a reliquary made of 700 pieces of bronze, coral, ivory and wood. Religious art lovers will appreciate the small museum. Even today, cloistered sisters still reside there.
