Despite its chic, stuffy look, Gloria de Montera is a favorite with Madrid's trendy youth. As soon as it's time for dinner, people flock here to sample the excellent Mediterranean cuisine. Above all, prices are surprisingly reasonable for a rather elaborate menu (we really enjoyed the 4-cheese risotto with asparagus) and a well-stocked wine cellar. The place is always packed, but reservations are impossible, so bear with us. The lunch menu is an excellent value option.

Rarely also disappointed by a restaurant that uses on its appearance and not its cuisine. We have 5, and after a good welcome, the order taking was painful, the waitress being squeezed, not giving any explanation and making us the gesture of us " activer". The dishes have all been enjoyed by the guests to verify that it was not a rotten trick. Unfortunately, none was edible: the green salad, only, could be completed, but supposed crab/avocado pasty and was obviously not made from these 2 ingredients. The octopus with Andalusian were in fact a potato dish on which had been thrown which pieces of octopuses covered in a thick layer with paprika to the strong smell. The pebbles chicken/ham were unworthy of a cafeteria of motorway. Avoid!
