Opened in 1854, La Carmencita is one of the first taverns in the city. If you don't really suspect it from the outside with this sober and chic grey front, once you pass the door, you are immediately immersed in the Madrid of yesteryear. The tiles on the walls, the grandmother's plates, the joyful hubbub, in short the real Madrid table as we like it! Spanish cuisine is tasty and we particularly liked the beef balls with salsa sauce or the meat fritter with mushroom cream. An address to test.
