The Abono Turístico is a good option for those who are going to use the metro or bus a lot.

Zone A corresponds to the whole city and allows you to take the metro, suburban train and bus as many times as you like. 8.40 € per day; 14.20 € for 2 days; 18.40 € for 3 days; 26.80 € for 5 days and 35.40 € for 7 days.

Zone T is more expensive (17 € per day; 28.40 € for 2 days; 35.40 € for 3 days; 50.80 € for 5 days and 70.80 € for 7 days) because you can travel throughout the entire community of Madrid, as far as Guadalajara and Toledo.

Noter que l'abonnement touristique zone A permet aussi l'aller retour sur l'aéroport de Madrid par le métro.
A savoir aussi : de nombreux sites touristiques (principaux musées, palais royal, places principales) sont concentrés sur une petite zone accessible sans difficulté à pied
