Housed in a historic building, the Grand Harbour Hotel is also conveniently located near the Upper Barraca Gardens. It offers 30 rooms on 7 floors, accessible by lift. All of the rooms have been renovated and are en suite and decorated in the style of the building. Most of the rooms have a balcony overlooking the large port and the Three Cities. The same beautiful view can be enjoyed from the hotel's rooftop terrace.

Room was clean, location near to city center and sea view of terrace.
Inner courtyard view of the room was actually the small space between 4 walls of the building. A bit too expensive for this "view".
Breakfast good enough even though it wasn't much variated.

Very rude receptionist/bartender. I asked for a toilet because my kid had an emergency and literally told me “f_____ you”. I would even pay to use the bathroom if she asked but she was very unfriendly and insulting in front of a 6 years old

Stunning views of the UNESCO acknowledged Valletta Harbour.
The fortresses, the mediaeval architectural masterpieces surrounding the hotel makes it feel like stepping into time, when the knights ruled and the earth was less polluted.
And yes, speaking of pollution, this spot is close to net Zero emission because there is very little access to vehicles around this area and the sea breeze makes trips back and forth, refreshing the atmosphere.
There is also a relaxation area outside the hotel, I don't think it is part of the hotel but it sure is a good spot for morning coffee while drinking-in the relaxing view of the harbour.
For the rooms and guest experience, they seem to be on a yellow, based on other people's reviews, some had good experiences some not so great.
So ask to see your room ahead of time if you choose to lodge here. And ask for the room with the harbour view, not all their rooms would have the harbour view, because it is bounded by the harbour on one side and by other buildings on the other side. Like a 180 degrees harbour , 180 degrees building kind of situation.
Amazing location.
