Great for a quick stay on the sister isle: conveniently located between Mgarr and Victoria, clean, adequately sized rooms, adequate breakfast, minimalist decor. Two gripes: beds a bit small and walls paper-thin so sleeping in is not an option

Das Quaint Hotel Xewkija liegt zentral im Ort, aber auch zu den anderen Orten auf Gozo.
Man muss wissen, dass es aufgrund dieser Lage nicht ganz ruhig sein kann, aber wir konnten schon bei geöffneten Fenster schlafen. Das Einchecken war jederzeit möglich und unkompliziert. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt, die Hotelzimmer sind nur mit Frühstück zu buchen. Das Frühstück nimmt man nicht im Hotel, sondern im Restaurant nebenan ein.
Das Frühstüvksangebot ist reichhaltig, auch frisch zubereitete Eierspeisen und Porridge werden angeboten. Die übrigen Produkte sind Fertigprodukte. Es gibt frisches Obst.
Es gab leider keinen frischen Kaffee, sondern nur Nescafe in Pulverform. Cappuchino und frisch gepresster Orangensaft können gegen Bezahlung bestellt werden.
Die Bettwäsche wird einmal die Woche gewechselt der
Handtuchwechsel erfolgt auf Wunsch täglich.
Die Empfangschefin, Alisnee, war immer sehr aufmerksam und freundlich und nahm sich unserer Wünsche an.
Das Quainthotel Xewkija ist ein gutes und auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt geeignetes Hotel. Wir verbringen seit Oktober 2020 immer für zwei Wochen in diesem Hotel unsere Ferien und werden auch jetzt wieder im Oktober 2023 für 2 Wochen im Hotel Xewkija sein.

Hotel práctico, habitaciones amplias y con bañera de hidromasaje

Room is nice but the breakfast is not good. There is only instant coffe, when u want a real one you have to pay extra. You can choose from a Menü between different types of egg and porridge (not big portions). And then you just have toast and unhealthy stuff to choose for your toast (Nutella, honey, jam) and ham or cheese on the weekends. So for a person who doesn’t eat sweet in the morning you only have toast with egg…. Not really what I expect for the price you pay

Si vas a alojarte en Gozo para visitar la isla en varios días, este es el hotel ideal para establecer tu campamento base

Overall it was a good experience but not the best. Breakfast at the restaurant next door was nice and very tasty. Beds are very comfortable. And the location in the Xewkija square is definitely the main feature of this hotel.

Great hotel at a perfect location in Gozo! The rooms were great however we found some small design issues (like the crane of the shower, lack of space to store items in the huge bathroom). Minor noise issues as the hotel reception is in the hallway towards the elevator/stairs. A tip could be to install a glass door in the hallway on the ground floor. Rooms were not very well isolated for noise and you could hear hallway movement pretty clearly.

Süßes kleines Hotel, von außen eher unscheinbar mit einem ganz eigenen Charme. Das Hotel ist Teil eines Platzes vor der Saint John Church.

Rezeption und Check in:
Late Check in hat super funktioniert. Die Dame an der Rezeption ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Unkompliertes Betreten und Verlassen des Hotels durch Zahlencode an der Tür.

Zimmer:
Gut ausgestattestes Zimmer mit Klima (ist auch nötig). Zwei super bequeme Einzelbetten, die sofort zum Doppelbett gestellt wurden. Möglichkeit zum Bügeln, Fernseher, Fön, Safe, Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher, Tee, Cappuccino in Pulverform. Keine EU Stecker, es empfiehlt sich, einen mitzubringen.

Frühstück:
Im angrenzenden Restaurant ist das Frühstücksbuffet. Omelett, Porridge, Joghurt etc. via Karte bestellbar. Cappuccino, etc. kostet extra. Schwarzer Kaffee inbegriffen.

Todo lo bueno que se pueda decir sobre este lugar es poco. Una maravilla las habitaciones, el personal y la localización.
