Located on a hill just outside the village, this European Union-funded center (Kormakitis Centre for Cooperation) aims to promote Maronite culture, protect the Cypriot Arabic language (spoken by only a few hundred people) and foster closer ties between the island's communities. Opened in 2023, it boasts four dormitories (not yet available when we last visited). Beautiful views of Cape Kormakitis.
