Magnifiques ruines d'une abbaye du XIIIè siècle avec très belle vue sur la ville de Kyrenia et la côte. Réfectoire impressionant par ses dimensions et son acoustique (si vous avez la chance d'assister à un concert). Côté insolite: un sarcophage romain du IIIè siècle ayant servi de lavabo aux moines.

C'est sympa mais limité.
Ce n'est pas le plus beau site que j'ai fait durant mon voyage.
La visite est assez rapide, je vous conseil de le faire en fin de matinée comme ça vous pouvez profiter des nombreux resto du village.

Very nice Abbey where you see the mix between the gothic French architetture and the orthodox Christian furniture in the Church. The ruins are nice to see and i can imagine a shadow repair in summer

Un incontournable à Chypre-Nord.
Dans un village typique et fort agréable il y avait une abbaye qui au fil du temps a subi quelques dégâts. Mais ce qu'il en reste est magnifique: la cathédrale, les espaces du monastères ont été très bien restaurés. C'est super!!!......
