Near the Nicosia-Anthoupolis road, about 10 minutes drive from Nicosia. The church dates from the Byzantine period, but was rebuilt in 1636 and 1713, when this monastery was bought by the monastery of Kykko. It was founded by Archbishop Nicéphore, who can see the grave in the entrance to the church. The iconostasis dates back to 1650 and the fresco of the Archangel Michel, to which the monastery is consecrated, dates back to 1785. The monastery also houses the Recherches Monastery Research Centre.
