Scientific leisure complex with telescope, helioscope, film projections, virtual reality games and café-restaurant.

This private scientific leisure complex (Πλανητάριο της Κύπρου/Planitario tis Kyprou, The Cyprus Planetarium) was created in 2023 on the outskirts of the village of Episkopio/Επισκοπειό. Featuring a café-restaurant, it houses the largest telescope in the eastern Mediterranean. You can follow live images from the telescope, a helioscope (a device for observing the sun) and a worldwide network of telescopes, attend film screenings, take part in virtual reality games... Themed evenings at astronomical events.
