Established in 1982 and completely refurbished in 2023, the Turkish Cypriot Museum of History, Culture and National Combat (Kıbrıs Türk Tarih, Kültür ve Milli Mücadele Müzesi) presents the island's history from an official Turkish perspective, in particular the actions of the Turkish Resistance Organization (TMT) from 1958 and the 1974 invasion. Numerous weapons and photo reproductions, 51 plaster statues of historical figures and... no English text.
